Let’s Build a Zoo
Let’s Build a Zoo invites players into a world where they can design and manage their very own zoo. From choosing exotic animals to creating crazy cross-breeds, this game has so many different routes to try out. In my opinion, the best part is designing your own zoo, making the ideal layout and of course unlocking everything you need to decorate your zoo.
Dreamlight Valley
This is one for the Disney lovers. If you grew up loving Disney, this game revolves around reconnecting with those characters from your childhood, building and decorating your own land, unlocking and inviting more characters as you progress. It has plenty of decorative and apparel items to unlock along the way, making it really fun for creatives.
Animal Royale
Although this game follows the battle royale structure, the character customisation along the way makes it a really enjoyable game for when you’re feeling creative. Make sure you have a google for any codes to claim extra free seasonal items!
Two Point Hospital
If you love playing any game that gives you the ability to decorate spaces/rooms, this is another winner. I put off getting this for a while as the decor is definitely limited compared to games like Animal Crossing (which I’m sure we all know and love); but once I gave in and downloaded, I was hooked. You can constantly unlock more space, build more rooms and level up to claim new items. It’s also totally nuts.
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
If you’d rather a storytelling game with gorgeous artwork to appreciate, Ni no Kuni is a game which features animated sequences produced by Studui Ghibli. If that alone isn’t enough to convince you to download it, I don’t know what will! This is the ideal game for cozy nights in, cup of tea in hand. The story approach makes it much slower, and therefore the definition of a cozy game.
Animal Crossing
Nothing can beat the absolute hero of cozy gaming, Animal Crossing. From designing your island, to designing villager’s homes with the Happy Home Paradise DLC, this has got to be the most creative game on Nintendo Switch. *Applause*
